The 10th annual "Gibran Tueni Scholarship 2016" in British Columbia.

During the New years Eve Celebration at Delta Hotel, Burnaby, and in the presence of 250 persons from the community, the World Lebanese Cultural Union-British Columbia Council  offered 3 scholarships to 3 students from Lebanese descent :
Stephanie Tarazi, Descent from Beirut.
Samir Chahine, Descent from Bechmezzine (Koura)
Celine Hayek.    Descent from Zahle
It is a scholarship that paid directly to the university of each  winner.
Congratulations to all three winners! They all deserve this recognition. Our Lebanese Community is small in BC but we all work hand in hand, wholeheartedly to keep our heritage and to encourage the youth to reach the stars.
