March 5, 2016 at 5.00pm:
Inauguration of 2 new benches at Queen Elizabeth Park, reception with Lebanese finger food and refreshments followed by a slide show about the late Prof. George Abi Rached and the early Lebanese Pioneers who founded the Lebanese Club of Vancouver in 1912.

2.00pm: Meeting at Gibran memorial in SFU, Burnaby Campus, (Beside R.C. Brown Hall).
2.15pm: Planting a Lebanese cedar tree, (Lebanese ambassador, WLCU, SFU officials to take part, photo souvenir)
3.00pm (Auditorium TBA)
- Cabriolet Film Festival Introduction.
- Opening the International Lebanese Short Film Festival.
- Introducing the Lebanese ambassador to Canada, H.E. Sami Haddad
- Introducing the Lebanese ambassador to Mexico, H.E Nouhad Mahmoud
- Official announcement

-Recognition & a thank-you present to SFU and organizers
5.30pm: Reception, food, drinks, photo souvenir.
